I could see Gordon wanting to go to Pacers, but threatening to opt out unless Danny agrees to trade him there. And I could see Danny talking with Pacers about getting Oladipo; I doubt he wants Turner (I wouldn't; would not upgrade our current center position; sorry Turner lovers).

Of course this would mean he should move Kemba. He was trying to move him for Holiday, so no doubt he will try to move him to make room for Oladipo. Knicks the most likely target.
I'm not sure flipping the guy who decided to sign for you a year ago and bail you out the Kyrie problem is the best long term business practice - if you expect to be in the free agent market again at some point over the next few years.  Players keep an eye on this stuff.  Even worse if you flip him to a lousy team.

Not to mention trading an all-star PG for another SG/SF.  Doesn't that make the so called logjam there worse?

How would people feel about flipping him for Aaron Gordon? Hayward is better player for sure, Aaron makes as much the next two years combined as Hayward will make next year on his option. He is a better defender, pretty good passer (3.7 assists vs Hayward 4.1), and young enough (about 18 months younger than Smart) that he could be part of the long term core. IF he's willing to play a more swiss army knife roll for the c's he could be a fit, he'd also have to hopefully improve his 3 pointer.

Now why would ORL do it? Well Hayward is a better ball handler and scorer, which they desperately need. Or Hayward could be routed to a third team and draft capital from that could be used for Aaron Gordon.
I've seen this one thrown around but I don't think Orl does it.  And what other salary are we throwing in that doesn't weigh a deal down negatively?

I actually do think Orlando would jump at Hayward. My hope is he stays and runs our offense but I have no faith Brad has guts to do that which is why I think Hayward will leave. I think he’s be ok with his time if it’s best for the team but Brad cowered to string personalities and will do it again.

The talk yesterday was Gordon Hayward + 1st to Pelicans for Jrue Holiday. Didn't materialize

No you're fake news. ;)

Seriously though, I can't imagine what the Cs would get out of that? I don't think either of Markennan or WCJ would be enough with Porter's contract.

Satoransky, Young, WCJ (or Markennan) plus the 4th pick? Cs probably include a pick back to the Bulls.

Does that make the Cs better? I don't know.

I wonder what Kemba's value is. Zach Harper tweeted that Ainge was offering Kemba to teams for picks, but couldn't get enough assets for Kemba to satisfy New Orleans.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Guessing time, who breaks the Hayward decision first on Twitter?

The longer he waits, means he is looking to see if he can be traded to a team he wants to join, in my opinion..why else would wait till last minute to decide? Had last 4-5 weeks to decide..easy choice for him would accept 34 million deal
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

They could be negotiating a long term deal.  Or they could be trying to get to a certain team.

Porter Jr and WCJ for Kemba and Edwards works financially.

I think it does make the celtics and the Bulls better. Bulls would probably draft Okongwu at 4 and roll with a small lineup (eventually trade Lavine or White I assume)
Kemba
White
Lavine
Markanen
Okongwu

Celtics would get a nice fat expiring and a player that will improve the bench. And of course an ideal starting Center. I would assume that team would try to recoup value in Porter Jr and trade him at deadline?

Smart/
Brown/Romeo
Hayward/OPJ
Tatum/GrantW
WCJr/Theis

Guessing time, who breaks the Hayward decision first on Twitter?

My guess is someone (or a few someones) who has absolutely no sources, but throws an answer out there because they have a 50/50 shot. People will then believe that they have a ton of sources and listen to them when they suggest some other (completely ridiculous) things.

So, you know, the same as every offseason/trade deadline.
I'm bitter.

Which could be a pretty big haul, seeing how Pelicans got offered a wheelbarrow of draft picks from the Bucks
