Al Horford will be missed but the sun will rise in the morning.

One opportunity that losing Horford would open up would be to explore the road not taken. Kevin Love chose LeBron and the Cavs over Boston and it might be time to rectify that decision.

Love remains an excellent rebounder, floor spacer, and still throws some of the best outlet passes in the league. Who knows what he could accomplish as the backbone of our emerging squad?

What would it take? Kevin Love for Hayward? It would sting but there were already rumors that the Cavs would take GH and he was close to joining Kyrie there before LeBron came back.

I'd rather have Big Al but if not Kevin Love should be a primary target this off-season.

Not a fan of this idea and would much rather go after a younger guy like Russell with our cap space, but technically we wouldn’t even need to send back much salary. Assuming we let Rozier and Morris walk, too, I think we could send Yabu and draft compensation and fit Love in the rest of our cap space at his $28.9M next year.

Noooooooo thank you. Nope.

Don't want a Lafrentz albatross around our necks for next few years. Lived that once and no thanks for it again. Young is the way now, embrace it for next two years and decide next steps in 21 or earlier if one of big agents demand out before hitting free agency. Staying in a mediocre pond makes no sense...if youth it is for two years , so be it.

Love's defense is Charmin soft.  Hell no!

I'd say start Baynes at 5 and go after a premier power forward if we can.  Maybe we will move up in the draft for that big defensive 4.  Or is Bamba possible as a trade target?

What about Love and 5 for 14 and 20, that treats Loves deal as the negative asset it is.
DKC:  Rockets
CB Draft: Memphis Grizz
Players: Klay Thompson, Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon
Next 3 picks: 4.14, 4.15, 4.19

Dreaming of a scenario where we do this and both Love and Hayward return to their prime forms

Who do we get to fill the hole for Love for the 40-50 games he'll invariably miss each season?
