Even if he was fit I would sit Kyrie for this game. Let's get some guys some more playing time,

Should probably mess around with the lineup and start Hayward.

Considering the Knicks won't even have a team with them lol

Unlike many here, I expect a close game.  No Kyrie, road game, and tendency for the C's to play down to their competition are factors, but also the Knicks players could be motivated individually to show they deserve a spot in the rotation.

I hope I'm wrong.

Cs need to show no mercy tonight. Have a chance to get to 4th in the standings and need to keep pace with the other teams ahead of them.

Kyrie is playing tonight. And what players does NYK even have on their roster right now with the Zinger, Hardaway, Lee, and Burke all gone now and DJ, Matthews, and Smith Jr. not yet cleared to play for New York? This will likely be a 30 point blowout.

Is a loss more important here seeing we don't want Knicks scoring a top 3 pick now?

They will have plenty more L’s to come this season, and with the new lottery reform the “top” 3 will have identical odds. They will undoubtedly be bottom 3 this year win or lose tonight.

Agree. Think Kyrie goes for 35 plus tonight.

Does Kyrie actually play enough minutes tonight, if it is a blow out, to get 35 points?

I guess if he can do it in 25 minutes.  If Kyrie has to play more than 25 minutes it means the team is playing down to the Knicks level, which would be very disappointing.

  • A true Celtic plays with heart.
Kyrie shouldn't even play, and we should blow them out to prove a point that coming here isn't feasibly a smart plan.

I’m excited to watch Kadeem Allen play tonight

With the NY incoming players inactive today, he’ll get lots of PT hopefully  :D
