I shouldn't have to ask this, but do we know who the refs are for this one?

Scott Foster, Zach Zarba, & David Guthrie.

Welp, we're screwed with Scott Foster.

why?

Better than Brothers who just hates the Celtics

Foster does not like players trying to sway him ...usually older vets

So this is in Celts favor if anything since Lowry and Nurse won't stop crying

Oh yeah Brothers is the absolute worst, no question. We're usually bad with Foster too (and he screws us) but we're 2-0 with him in the playoffs as you mention and we are usually good with Zarba out there, and he's actually one of the good ones.

Go big or go home!

Of course you might be passed out by halftime.  Which may or may not be a bad thing.
Yup

I should probably schedule myself a 2-hour nap in the middle of the day lol. Tired from starting classes already this week and plus in the East Coast this game could go on until midnight since it's a 9 PM start

A loss tonight will be a tough pill to swallow.  Will be very hard to get the .5 seconds to a 3-0 lead out of my head.

Go C's!

I haven’t posted much lately but gotta join the boys/gals for this one. Game 7 baby lets go. I’m cautiously confident that we’re going to kick some butt tonight with Kemba spearheading the way.

When in doubt, get both. I am ready with one nice bottle and one emergency bottle of red if God forbid there is OT or a close game in the 4th. I am hoping for easy breezy win.

I like the optimism and welcome back to the game thread! TP.

Nap is a good idea for sure. Watch our game end at 2am EST in 5 OT's

Really hoping Karen Nurse doesn't sway everything in his favor this game.

Win or go home. We'll get a good feel at our team's inner-will. There's no doubt about someone like Smart, but it's a team game. Would hate to be the first team in NBA history to lose after [essentially] going up 3-0. We can do this - just have to fight!

Tim Donaghy used to call Foster before every game he bet on.

https://boston.cbslocal.com/2012/06/01/scott-foster-recipient-of-134-tim-donaghy-phone-calls-refereeing-celtics-heat-game-3/

The fact that he is still in the league, reffing playoff games tells you all you need to know about the "integrity" of the officiating.

With that said, I think we get a good whistle tonight. The Raptors are a dead-end team, we are much more intriguing going forward. The potential Boston/LA Finals angle is hugely appealing for Silver, and rekindling the C's/Heat hatred isn't bad either. The league helped stretch this series to 7 games, but IMO it is our time to shine.
